In a rare turn of life events, we met, we moved and then we married. The move? To our home afloat, Shangri-La. A lifelong passion for the sea finally satisfied. For over three years now we’ve lived full time aboard this magnificent trawler style vessel.
So far we've traveled over 8,500 miles on our new home!
Our dream? To allow people an opportunity to experience a vacation rental aboard a classic motor yacht, smell the sea, bask in the sun - and be mariner for a day!
Shangri-La is a beautifully maintained Grand Banks 42 Classic. Her interior finishes are solid teak. The warm satin wood tones speak to a special kind of old world craftsmanship.
You will relax in the comfort of a spacious salon surrounded by huge windows that bring the nearby sights up close. She is fully heated and air conditioned, or you can choose to open the windows and doors to embrace the coastal breezes.
Your stateroom boasts a private head and separate shower. Sleeping is heavenly on a full size premium mattress.
A bed, of course - then breakfast cooked on board by Jan. Fresh towels snacks and light beverages are included.
However you may also get a visit from our marina staff or fellow boaters as you relax on the spacious bridge overlooking the harbor.
We do stay aboard during your visit. Our quarters are in the forward V-berth with our own bathroom and shower.
You can have as much privacy as you wish at any time.
